NATIONALISATION of road transport is still the Government intention but with the current economic situation it would not be appropriate to go on with the plans.
The Green Paper says that the nationalisation of the ports is the first priority but the paper makes it clear that they hope to take steps in the direction of nationalisation "in the shorter term."
