• From July 1 there will be reciprocal recognition between Britain and Northern Ireland of the two countries' schemes for the licensing of drivers of heavy goods vehicles.
Announcing this in the Commons, Mr John Peyton, the Minister for Transport Industries, said that he would shortly be laying the necessary Regulations before Parliament.
