This valve is a -k in. BSP, three port, one-way trip, leveractuated type which requires a mechanical operating force of only 31 oz, A cam (or other tripping device) moving in one direction depresses and operates the valves; on the reverse movement the valve is not actuated, the operating mechanism merely being tripped. The valve body is of solid brass, the operating mechanism being of brass and steel.

The S.21/48 is of the open exhaust type and is suitable for use in pneumatic circuits working in the pressure range 30 to 100 p.s.i. Operating temperatures are from 5 to 80°C.
