common transport policy, and a plan for a communications network through the Six Mat be agreed within three years. These were two of the conclusions reached by the European Parliamentary Assembly at a special session last week.
The EPA also agreed in principle with the Commission's plans for co-ordinating .investment in transport infrastructures (" track investment") and for applying a general timetable to the introduction of common measures for road passenger transport.
It has been agreed that common definitions of different types of passenger services should be applied, and that p.s.v. safety regulations should be harmonized as soon as possible.
