SIR FRANK NEWNES has just returned from a business trip to South Africa, where he has been visiting the Union, and Southern Rhodesia, in connection with his publishing interests. As chairman of LTD., Ltd., maker of the Stacatruc, he has also been studying the possibilities of extending the use of mechanical handling appliances in that country.
MR. F. S. GROOM has been appointed public relations manager of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., in succession to MR. W. J. SEYMOUR, who resigned on March 31 Before the war Mr. Groom was editor of the "Vauxhall Motorist and Bedford Transport Magazine" and, later, the "Vauxhall-Bedford News.'
