FOLLOWING last year's contract for 1,000 Regent Mark III doubledeckers, London Transport has now ordered a further 370. The number of vehicles of this type now ordered is 2,370.
Orders for 55 goods vehicles of A.E.C. manufacture are in hand for Hays Wharf Cartage Co., Ltd., London. These are 24 Matador Mark III and 31 Mammoth Major eight-wheelers.
