Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I DRIVE a 32-ton gross artic tanker outfit for a large concern (Dalgety) and only last week the transport manager told me that I must now take a half-hour break after four hours, whether or not I drive. I do not remember seeing any drivers' hours regulations published recently so could some one please clarify the issue for me and other drivers. DAVID S. BAKER Newbury Berkshire Under national rules, you're right. You must take a half-hour break after 5% hours continuous driving. The TM owes you a pint after work. — Ed.
