A 51-YEAR-OLD sufferer from multiple sclerosis has travelled by coach for more than 198 hours in 11 days to raise money for research into that crippling disease. National Express and the Scottish Bus Group provided the tickets.
Alex Duncanson, of Aberystwyth, pulled in £5,000 from an earlier two-day coach trip and was aiming at £50,000 on the second. If he had not been handicapped before he started, he would surely have been paralysed after sitting in a coach for at least 18 hours a day for 11 days.
