TRANSPORT and distribution consultant Davies and Robson of Croydon has promoted Timothy Knowles to the board of directors.
Mr Knowles, formerly with Proctor and Gamble and Routemaster Services, has specialised in the field of distribution of fast-moving consumer goods. At Davies and Robson he has led consultancy projects for clients including Mars, Pedigree Petfoods, Green Giant, Debenhams and Hillards Supermarkets.
FURTHER restructuring is being carried out by Leeds Haulier Archbold Freightage. Following the appointment of DAVID SYKES as sales and marketing manager (CM, September 1) JACK MINGAY, a director of the company, has been appointed North-eastern area director. BRIAN CRESSWELL, previously manager of the company's Manchester depot, has been appointed North-western area manager.
Both are new appointments designed to strengthen operations within the two areas with a view to further expansion.
