THE UNITED KINGDOM market sales team of DAF Bus has been joined by Jeff Hughes, who has been appointed coach sales executive.
Mr Hughes joins the bus division from Plaxtons, where he was regional manager for North-west England and Scotland. He will be working alongside the company's dealers in selling to major fleet operators.
As reported in CM (September 8), Christopher Thorneycroft-Smith has returned to DAF Trucks (GB) as marketing director. His role will encompass both the bus and lorry product ranges, not just heavy goods vehicles as stated last week.
