OVER 100 lorries will be used next year to carry the world's biggest transportable covered exhibition around the provinces. This exhibition is part of the Festival of Britain activities and will visit Manchester from May 4-20, Leeds from June 23-July 14, Birmingham from August 4-25 and Nottingham from September 15-October 6.
The complete exhibition structure and 5,000 exhibits will be carried. They will be dispatched on convoys at intervals to avoid congestion on the roads. Bia vehicles will be employed.
