• Vauxhall's new Astravan is now on sale (CM 3-9 Sept). It comes with two trim levels, Envoy and LS; and three engines: a 1.6i petrol, a 1.7-litre eight-valve turbo-diesel, and a 2.0-litre 16-valve turbo-diesel.
Standard equipment includes remote central deadlocking, an immobiliser, power steering, a driver's airbag and seatbelt grabbers.
The airbag can be deleted for a refund of £220.
