• A truck passenger died and the driver was injured in o collision with a car in northern Scotland.
The passenger, Lawrence Grant, 43, a customer services rep for Aberdeen-based Initial Textile Services, was thrown from the cab. The driver of the car, a Toyota Starlet, was also killed.
The accident happened last week on the A9 Inverness-toWick road between Alness and Kildary. The truck driver, who is also a customer services rep for Initial Textile Services, was too distressed to comment.
