• British Leyland points out that three of its most widely used diesel engines have already obtained the latest British Standards Certificate BSAU 141a:1971 — on which will be based the new smoke and power to weight regulations revealed by the Minister of Transport Industries last week. The engines are the four cylinder 3.81-litre six cylinder 5.1 and 5.71-litre units.
