GRANTS totalling more than £3,600 are announced by The Council of The Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Each year funds are made available under the terms of a bequest by the late James Clayton for post-graduate research in mechanical engineering to be undertaken.
Of six awards, five are for studies to be made in universities and colleges of advanced technology in this country and one for work at the European Institute of Business Management at Fontainebleau.
