rOMPLETION of a number of acquisitions has been announced by the Amey Group Ltd.
The remaining half of the issued share capital of J. H. Fisher (Contractors) Ltd. has been purchased. This company is engaged in haulage contracting and road maintenance work and operates in the Reading area.
The business previously carried on by Mrs. Dorothy Masters, comprising the manufacture of concrete products at Poole and the operation of sand and gravel working and brickworks at Wareham, has been acquired and is now operated by W. E Masters Ltd„ a whollyowned subsidiary.
A group of four small companies previously owned by Mr. F. J. 0. Martin and his late father, which carries on '.he business of storage, distribution and transport at Old Sudbury. Gloucestershire, has been purchased.
