XECUTIVES of the 23 companies in

the UK distributing Leyland and Albion vehicles have joined together in an association called the Leyland Motors Distributors Association. The object is said to be closer liaison between distributors, which will lead to better service for operators. There will be four meetings of the association each year and it will report directly to Leyland and Albion at frequent intervals with operators' suggestions.

Chairman of the new association is Mr. D. J. Sparshatt, of I. H. Sparshatt and Sons IPortsmouth) Ltd.. and the secretary is Mr. D. E. Stocking, of the Arlington Motor Co. (LGS) Ltd., London. The member companies have been separated in three regions and Mr. G. B. Taylor, southern divisional manager of Leyland, has been appointed liaison officer between the association and Leyland Albion.
