Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

In A combination lock for ISO containers and box-van bodies is being marketed in Britain by Encrypta Electronics.

The flat steel lock is attached to the inner face of the container door and is sealed by insertion of a hardened steel pin. Before the doors are closed an alphanumeric code is set in the lock by means of thumbwheel selectors. The lock can then be unfastened only by the use of a hefty electronic "key'', into which the correct combination must be entered.
