QUERNHOW AWARD • Routiers, the international drivers' club, has awarded its approval to the Quernhow Truckstop in North Yorkshire. The Quernhow is the third establishment to be recognised by Routiers, the others being the Checkley Rest & Station and Truckers, near Derby.
Facilities at Quenthow include a shop. off-licence and games machines in addition to the usual vehicle and human services. It is open from 7am to 7.30pm during the week and until 3.30pm on Saturdays, but is closed on Sundays.
