• Alex Ritchie is the new director of finance of South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive.
Ritchie, who has worked in the public sector all his professional career, came to South Yorkshire PTE in February 1979 as chief financial officer. He is also chairman of the Passenger Transport Finance Executive of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
