• Hounslow-based Oliveline, a company formed following the demise of Spirit of London has been granted a new PSV Operator's licence for 13 vehicles until next September by Metropolitan traffic commissioner Air Vice Marshal Ronald Ashford.
Evidence was given that Spirit of London had overstretched itself, getting into difficulties when the tourist market collapsed and its London sightseeing tours were no longer viable. The new company had largely moved out of PSV work, disposing of the large coaches.
