‘RDIFF-BASED operator W. T. Davies (Transport) has bought ree new Mercedes-Benz tippers, two 2419 6x4 rigids and a 4x2 17 K. They are used on general tipping and demolition work and ere supplied by Euro Commercials of Cardiff.
The 16-ton 1617 is fitted with a Withey 7.6cum (10 cuyd) lightweight steel body raised by Edbro tipping gear, while the six-wheelers have 15.3 cubic metre (20 cuyd) Withey Alloy bodies equipped with Allision Harsh underfloor rams with stabilizers. W. T. Davies have recently become agents for the American Allision Harsh equipment.
