Mercedes-Benz dealer Midlands Truck & Van gains a new aftersales director and truck sales manager

MERCEDES-BENZ dealer Midlands Truck & Van has named David Stewart (pictured left) as its new aftersales director and Simon Russell (right) as the new truck sales manager.
Stewart had a 30-year career with Volvo Trucks, rising to aftermarket director for its northern England and Scottish area before joining the Ballyvesey-owned dealership.
“Midlands Truck & Van is a fantastic company and we have some good people working in parts and services across our dealerships.” Russell started his career with the dealership in 1988 when it was Gerard Mann before joining Mercedes as a key account manager.
He rejoins dealer principal Jon Divers who previously ran the manufacturers fleet truck sales team.
“I’ll still be looking after some West Midlands-based customers, but I’m also looking forward to introduce new operators to the benefits of Mercedes-Benz trucks,” he says. ■
