Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries has ordered five Don-Bur 'Urb-A-Tic' semi-trailers, its first such urban artic system to he designed specifically for brewery operations. The vehicles will be supplied with a choice of strapless Slide-ASlide or Palletmaster curtainsided bodywork.

A lightweight fabricated steel frame and extensive use of aluminium extrusions help keep down weight; within a plated gross weight of 18 tonnes, the Urb-A-Tic manages a full 14.5-tonne payload.

Maximum torsional stiffness is ensured in high-stress areas by tubular cross-members. SAF air suspension comes as standard, with a raise-lower capability to facilitate loading/ unloading. Using low-profile tyres brings deck-height down to 1.15m (on a 1.0m-high fifth wheel).

The front bulkhead is a steel/alloy composite panelled with GRP-faced plywood. The heavy duty alloy floor is covered with a birch overlay and offers a deck length of 8.535m.

The curtains have integral oval section vertical stiffeners and are fitted with full-height solid panels front and rear to give rigidity when secured at both ends with lockable overcentre recessed fasteners. A steel roller track at the top and nylon guide rail at the bottom is designed to give smooth and durable operation.

At the rear a Whiting widelath roller shutter door is fitted. Tool box, sack truck bracket, skid racks and CO2 carriers are all installed under the sides of the body.
