Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Recovery systems specialist Brimec (UK), of Bristol, has launched a lightweight onetonne recovery vehicle package that combines the Towlift wheel lift with a purpose-designed Brimec aluminium-alloy body.

The first 12 examples of Brimtec's new integrated system, which is based on a crew-cab Ford Transit 190 chassis, are being delivered to the RAC for use at various bases around the country, and now a package is being offered on the open market.

Claimed advantages of the new package include low weight, longer life, better corrosion resistance, reduced body maintenance and improved residual value. It also incorporates a number of special features said to make the recovery job quick and safe.

This is the first time Brimec has offered a complete vehicle package: the Towlift recovery system has usually been combined with proprietary bodywork from other suppliers.

Now Brimec is offering a one-stop purchase for operators wanting a one-tonne wheel-lift vehicle.

Aluminium alloy is used for the bodywork, giving a weight saving of around 50% compared with steel.
