Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Running on palm oil

IN AN ATTEMPT to conserve conventional fuel, Seddon and the Nigerian Government collaborated in 1943 in running a vehicle on palm oil. Norman Arden, assistant chief engineer at Seddon Atkinson's Oldham factory, recalls that dery was used for starting and that the exhaust was fed through the palm-oil tank to keep the substance molten.

The whole of Britain now seems to be running on -palm oil" and the result is far from satisfactory.
