OLDHAM is marketing a new range of high-performance low-maintenance batteries under the brand name of Easy Care.
The battery takes less water than previous types and gives 12 months or 50,000 miles maintenance-free service when correctly fitted with a voltage regulator setting not exceeding the maximum 14.4 volts.
Discharge characteristics are claimed to sustain peak performance up to three times longer than conventional batteries even when not in regular use.
The Easy Care range has a two-year guarantee and costs no more than an equivalent conventional battery.
