Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WIER the failure of 0.03 per cent of steering joints fitted to Redford CF vans, Vauxhall Motors has decided to replace the :omponent.

The chassis affected are GY606 174 and all higher GY lumbers, all HY numbers, all JY numbers and KY 600001 to KY 115137.

Only a few eases of failure have been reported and all have iappened at low speed when steering torque is at its highest. [he failure has involved a fracture of the joint between the ntermediate steering shaft and its coupling, resulting in ,a loss of aeering.

Rectification to date has not, in all cases, been satisfactory. [he new campaign will cover all those already treated as well as di others involved.

Vauxhall says that existing failure history does not suggest my significant risk.
