Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO NEW FILMS were launched this week by Parliamentary Secretary of Transport Kenneth Clarke.

The Bus Signals Go was made with Welsh Office and West Glamorgan County Council assistance, and shows the benefits of the Selective Detective system of bus control used in Swansea City Centre.

The £40,000 Swansea scheme involves the use of transponders fitted to buses to give them priority at traffic lights. It has resulted in little delay to ordinary traffic and faster bus journey times.

The second film, Any Town Can Do It, shows how a small computer can be used to identify and overcome traffic delays by reacting to congestion, both expected and spontaneous, when it arises.

Both films show how economical and painless bus priority and traffic management schemes can be used to the advantage of both public transport and the ordinary motorist.
