THE RAYNER REPORT ci Road Construction Units hi been published and, accordin to Minister of Transport No man Fowler, the main issue i the report is the future of tJ Sub-units in the Road Cot struction Unit organisation.
In a written answer to question from Gary Walk (Brighouse and Spenborough the Minister said that he proposing to phase-out th Sub-Units.
Mr Fowler said that he hE announced the broad prir ciples now because he is awat of the difficulties which at caused by continued uncei tainty. His Department is no, carrying out a detailed stud to draw up a programme action.
