A TRANSPORT MANA ER who was demoted to driver by A. & B. Wall & Company of South Elmsall had been entitled to resign. So said a Sheffield! Industrial Tribunal when it ruled that Alan Hodgetts had been Iconstructively dismissed."

But the Tribunal was satisfied there had been a real change in status. It said Mr Hodgetts had been denied any significant involvement with administration work. Its view was that there had been a fundamental breach of his contract of employment.
