Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

accepted our invitation to present papers at the fifth in the annual series of Fleet Management Conferences sponsored by COMMERCIAL MO-roe on behalf of the road transport industry. And this year the one-day conference moves back to London—to the Hilton Hotel, where in 1966 we had our record attendance of 670 delegates. I am sure that the 1968 conference on September 19 (the day before the Commercial Motor Show opens at Earls Court) will draw at least as many delegates and I urge all readers who want to attend to ensure their reservation right away.

The papers are on subjects which are of immediate interest but which will become of immense practical importance to operators as a much-altered road transport industry enters the 1970s: the performance and rewards of employees and their place in the scheme of things; the changing road-rail relationship; and evaluation of the most efficient and acceptable power unit for tomorrow's commercial vehicles.

After introducing their papers and taking part in the ensuing discussions, our three distinguished speakers wil later come together on a panel where, with other specialists they will answer questions covering the whole field of roac transport operation. As the timetable shows, we are allow ing ample time here for a really wide-ranging exchange o ideas, information and advice.

I am delighted to tell you that Lord Chesham (chairman o the British Road Federation and executive vice-chairmar of the Royal Automobile Club) has agreed to be our chair man again, so the deft handling of the day's business assured; he will be chairman for the brains trust, too The all-in fee for this one-day conference will be fivt guineas a person (this including bound copies of the con ference papers, morning coffee, cocktails, lunch and after noon tea).

All the ingredients are there for another stimulating am valuable conference—and probably another sell-out, toe so I do advise you to use the form on this page and B001 TODAY.
