• South Yorkshire distributor Kirkby Trucks has been taken over by Sherwood Leyland Daf for more than £1 million. The deal, which doubles the size of Sherwood Leyland Daf and gives it almost 4% of the UK CV market, was set up in April. The company expects to sell about 850 vehicles this year.
