Performance and braking on the Roadrunner has been greatly improved by the fitment of the 300 series engine and front disc brakes in the spring of 1986.
An optional, air suspended seat is available as part of the OX pack for the Roadrunner, which was announced in the autumn of 1986.
Apparently excessive clutch wear may result from inadvertent 'riding' of the clutch pedal this is a particular risk with delivery vehicles engaged on stop-start operations.
