I AM a small operator who has held an 0-licence for five years. It is about to be renewed, or at least I am applying for renewal.
I am concerned that it may be objected to by local residents who have moved into the area since I set up my depot. • Reading CM every week I get the impression that there are people who seem to think we are a public nuisance rather than a public service.
I would like to see a campaign educating public and showing them how dependent they are on our services. Then they might not object so much. I expect to get my licence renewed, but a public enquiry will cost me time and money. Name and address supplied
