Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RENAULT Truck Industries' revised G260 4x2 and 6x2 tractive unit range has gone full production at Dunstablc.

All G260 models now have the same 18-speed rangechange and splitter 1318 gearbox used on the top-of-therange 310 Turboliner and are supplied with a full sleeper cab with revised interior trim.

The nine-speed rangechange version of the 1118 gearbox previously fitted becomes an on-line option along with the day cab. The 18speed gearbox adds 85kg (1.67cwr) to the G260's kerb weight.

RTI has also updated its wheelbase options for G260 17TD 4x2 tractive units. The existing 3.60m (lift 9in) wheelbase is now joined by a new 3.3m (10ft 10in) version which supersedes the old 3.0m (9ft 10in) wheelbase.

Minor changes have also been made to the siting of chassis equipment and the old tube and plate entry step has been replaced by a proper diecast unit.

Price for the sleeper cab 3.3m wheelbase G260 4x2 with the 18-speed B18 gearbox is £28,950.

RTE has yet to make a decision whether it will introduce a charged-cooled version of the 192kW (258hp) 9.8-litre MIDS Renault engine currently fitted in all UK G260 models.
