Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE first of 12 Ford Cargo 2420 6x4 truck mixers has entered service with the Premix division of ARC for operation in southern and south east England.

They are powered by Deutz F6L 413 V6 air-cooled diesel engines rated at 150kW (205hp) gross, coupled to Eaton Fuller RT6609 nine-speed range-change gearboxes.

In common with many other mixer chassis the suspensions on the front axle and rear bogie are asymetric to counteract the rotation of the mixer drum, which has a payload of 6cum (7.8cuyd).

Specifying the Deutz engine on the 2420 chassis allows power take-off to be mounted directly behind the engine, thereby avoiding the need for a separate donkey engine for the mixer or fitting a frontrnounted pt-o with vulnerable pipework.
