IN RESPONSE to the very high levels of theft from lorries at the Port of Felixstowe (estimated to have cost over £2m in two years), Suffolk police have held a meeting to discuss ways of improving security.
They told more than 100 hauliers of the free service where the police can suggest improvements to security at Operating Centres. Representatives front security and insurance companies were also on hand to give advice.
