Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DES EVANS HAS resumed his role as CEO of MAN Truck & Bus UK. This follows his promotion on 1 February from CEO to head of business development truck sales northern Europe, which was part of a drive to centralise management.

His resumption of the CEO role will not affect the part-time research study he is carrying out with Cranfield University to develop a more sustainable, service-led model that can benefit both operators and dealer networks.

M AN's share of new truck regis

trations fell from 10.25% in 2009 to 6.67% for the year to June. Evans's return to the post he held for six years is a clear sign that the fall in market share will he addressed.

Other changes to MAN's UK structure include: Vince Welsh's move from the bus and coach division to aftersa les director: Michael Latham taking over as director branch operations, responsible for 18 workshops; Sandy Millar becoming UK sales director, responsible for MAN direct retail sales and the Top Used operation in addition to sales engineering, planning and logistics; and Roy Morton taking charge of the international key accounts, municipal and special products.
