A MONTH Al lER agreeing a deal in principle, the administrator for Milbank 'Ducks has finalised the sale of the firm's assets.

David Watson Transport, a new company created by the Milbank management team, has bought Milbank and its assets from KPMG.

Milbank Trucks called in the administrator on 4 November following the collapse of its sister company Milbank Floors. At the time, 28 staff were made redundant.

Milbank Trucks, which has an annual turnover of .114m. continued to operate while KPMG tried to find a buyer for the business.

At the beginning of December, the administrator agreed the deal with David Watson Transport in principle, but the sale has now been confirmed and will ensure Milbank's 130 staff will keep their jobs.
