0 anta's job was made a little easier this Christmas when Parcelforce Worldwide was approached by the charity Samaritan's Purse International. In a project called Operation Christmas Child, they planned to deliver a Christmas treat to 300,000 underprivileged children throughout Eastern Europe.
Fourteen Parcelforce Worldwide vans collected presents donated by members of the public from 3,000 schools and church halls up and down the country. As well as the loan of the vehicles, the company also covered the cost of the fuel. The vans distributed the presents throughout Russia, Belarus, Hungary and the former Yugoslavia.
