• The AA is preparing a case to submit :o the Chancellor for the reduction of motor -uel tax in his April budget by bd a gallon. This was announced on Wednesday when :he AA revealed that motoring taxation now amounted to nearly 12 per cent of national -evenue— a staggering 1800m a year.
