• Dri-Sil Technics has developed a range of light commercial Ozonisers which it says are ideal for use in chilled or refrigerated compartments.
There are four models in the AirMaid Ozoniser range; two portable and two for wall-mounting. All release carefully measured amounts of ozone which neutralises chemical pollution, eliminates odours and can destroy surface bacteria on food. The AirMaid is billed as the most natural air freshener in the world and does its job without generating the static electricity normally associated with ionisers.
The units measure 290x110x75mm and weighs 2.1kg.
They are mains or DC powered and the maker claims electrical consumption is half that of a 60W bulb.
