• Volvo Truck Corporation is to form a joint venture company with Dutch specialist vehicle maker Terberg in which Volvo will be the majority shareholder.
Volumes are expected to grow to 300 vehicles annually with all trucks badged as Volvo. They will have an all-Volvo driveline.
According to Volvo Truck's executive vicepresident Tommy Rengman, one of the areas the joint company will concentrate on is refuse trucks. Terberg already produces a narrow-cab refuse collection chassis using a Volvo driveline.
