A SAFER acrylic paint system for commercial vehicles is now being offered by Croda Paints of Birmingham (021 772 2244).

Tekacryl 2 is available with single or twin-pack primer undercoats. These can be applied over any conventiona finish including polyurethanes, air-drying synthetics and cellulose.

As Tekacryl 2 has no ,ocyanates, safety precautions re simplified and paint arayers can use a standard ice mask.

Oyercoating is two hours; us allows a total mask-up to w-coat re-finish in a single lift. According to Croda, 'ekacyl lasts twice as long as onventional paints and resists hemical and mechanical chicle washing systems etter.

Standard or slow activators an be supplied depending on le size of vehicle. The first ives a touch-dry time of 10 rinutes, allowing the Dplication of an enamel ip coat in two hours. Tekacryl 2 will initially be latched to customers' ;quirenients.

It is supplied as a double ack of base and activator in izes which ensure a correct :1 mix.
