Hazard chemicals
VIDEOS and films on the transport of hazardous chemicals by road have been produced for hire or
purchase. Incident under Control, made by Millbank Films, was sponsored by ICI for the use of transport managers, drivers and the emergency services.
It explains the high standards of safety, maintenance and driver training chemical manufacturers and hauliers must maintain before they take to the road.
The new legislation on the classification labelling and conveyance of packaged hazardous goods is also introduced, as well as reminders about past regulations for tankers and tank containers.
Incident under Control runs for 23 minutes in 16mm and video format. Purchasing the 16mm film i costs £425 and the video 8:400. To hire it for two days is £65, while for seven days the price is £90. All prices are exclusive of VAT and postage and packaging.
