The transpoft, committee of Rotherham Corporation has accepted the tenders of Cravens Railway Carriage and Wagon Co., Ltd., for the supply of four trolleybus bodies and eight bodies for petrol buses, and of Guy Motors. Ltd., for the supply et four trolleybu_s chassis.

Aberdeen Town Council has decided to purchase 10 A.E.C. Q-type 39-tenter but chassis with hydraulic transmission systems, preselective gearboxes and oil engines, and eight Albion-Cardner five-cylinder oil-engined chassis for 35-seater bodies, the bodies to be built, by Mr. William Walker, of Aberdeen.

The transport committee of Wolverhampton Corporation has authorized the obtaining of tenders for the replacement of obeolete buses by double-deck oil-engined vehicles as and when required, at a cost not exceeding £12,000, as well as the purchase of double-saloon trolleybuses at a cosl of not more than £7,000.
