Docks, Peckham and the Isle of Dogs, have begun operation. Routes P4 between Surrey Docks and the Isle of Dogs, which restores the bus service through the Rotherhithe Tunnel, has been sponsored by London Docklands Development Corporation, assisted by the Department of the Environment. Six stretched 31-seat MCW Metroriders operated by Kentish Bus are allocated to the route.
