LOTHING TRANSPORT Decialist company in the SPD roup, Tibbett and Britten, has amed two new senior lanagers.

Bob English becomes the Dmpany's Northern operations )anager, responsible for cus)mer service and general aerations management for bbett and Britten's Northern apots at Rochdale, Morley, urham, East Kilbride and Belst. Mr English was previously 'al-lager at the Rochdale depot -id has been with the company .r nine years.

Midlands BRS has a new trailer-rental manager. He is Barry Crellin and will be based at the Oldbury branch. He joins the company from another rental company, Rentco, where he was district manager for the Midlands area.

Hertz Europe has named Angelo Salmasi as director of truck rental and leasing operations. Mr Salmasi had first joined Hertz in his native Italy and has worked for the company in the UK, Europe and the United States. He will be based at the headquarters in Isleworth, Middlesex.

Ian Chudley has moved to Leslie Hartridge, manufacturer of automotive test equipment, as sales manager UK for the Buckingham-based company, Mr Chudley joins Hartridge from Electro Diesel in Mexico where he worked in sales and marketing. In his new post he will be responsible for developing sales in the UK of the company's fuel injection and vehicle-test equipment.

A director of Kelly's Removals, Tony Graham of Guildford, has moved to become assistant to the managing director of another removal company, Trenchards of, Bournemouth. Mr Graham became general manager of Kel ly's in 1971, being made director in 1978.

He played a prominent role i developing Kelly's internationi removal operations, and Trenchards will also be respon ible for international roa removals. Both Kelly's an Trenchards are members of th consortium of European inten ational removal companie: Eurovan.

As late as 1968 IV Chapman helped to develo Perkins' first V8 engine.
