I AM a mite tired of left-wing bleating about the iniquities of the Establishment and its pro clivity for looking after its own. The trades union movement, which can hardly be further from the Establishment, has no equals when it comes to protecting its own.
Thousands of BL workers had no compunction about jeopardising the company's existence, their own jobs and the country's balance of payments to support an over-publicised loud-voiced Communist. As a self-denying ordinance and a Christmas goodwill gesture to the Soviet, I suggest that they should have him stuffed and present him to the Kremlin.
